Must Read..Book!!!

Looking back my days in the recent past, I do not finding myself in a good shape. Always pessimistic enough to ruin myself. I did not know how negative thought got instilled into me. "This is not the time to analyse that dude", my inner voice shouted inside my head. Yes, this is not the time to do that, rather this is time to try and erase those from my mind.

First step towards reaching that goal is reading some good books, though I am not a voracious reader, I am trying to become one. Started reading books, that too specific enough to create transformation inside me. Selection, there comes a question, how can I know which is a good book. I knocked many doors to get some details about the books. Many suggested the book which I am going to explain in this, 'tuesdays with morrie'. I am 150% sure that this book will transform your life in a day, becaus that is the time taken to finish this, short and sweet.

Mitch Albom, demonstrates his ability to attract and to create transformation in everybody's life. The way he narrates the story makes one not to realise the changes happening around the world when he is reading this. That is the kind of impact I felt while reading this.
In this book, Morrie, a professor, sorry a coach, who is on his death bed, describes how to see the life so that one can stay positive even when he is going to die. He explains about family, money etc., etc., You may ask me how the book got its name. This book can be considered as a course, where the author meets the professor each tuesday and they both take up an issue (which a normal human considers as a problem) and discuss about that.

I am really able to feel the tranformation, that book made in me. I would certainly recommend this book to all the people who need transformation in them. Though I am not a good reviewer of the books, I thought I can act as a catalyst for a transformation to some people, who feel exactly the same way as how I felt some days back.

Stay Positive, try to approach things in a positive way. That is the moral that is reached.

Munnar - Fun Continues..

I think you all were able to visualise what we had on the first two days of the trip..So here comes the 2nd part of the trip

...Next day morning, Our stay in the cottage got over and we packed all our stuffs and dumped in one of the jeep and dumped ourselves in another.First place we reached was the place where KOVIL film was shot.Guys were excited especially our "SIMBU" [The reason for this name in the climax of the trip].Everyone was climbing the rocks and all P.C.Srirams started to show their ability with the cameras."Dei adha eduda..edha eduda.." some gave suggestions. Some were busy watering the shrubs on side of the road.

The next location was the ultimate point till then,"Sadhuranga Parai", the point which is used to smuggle cardomom from Kerala to TN.The way we travelled to this was really a cycle track road that made Sivaprakash to disturb the environment with all the three states of matter which he further disposed after reaching the place with the help of aquafina. It is around 6K feet above the sea level. The view of the fields around was like something from a flight. So we all were witnessing the nature's immaculate beauty..juz two eyes were not enough..By this our independent journey in munnar came to an end.Now we are gonna get surrendered to Mr.Ajeesh who promised for surprises in next two days.

Ramakkalmedu,it is said Lord Rama visited this place when he was in his vanavasa..[I think Rama have not visited any plane surface..chumma malai malai ya yeri uyira vaanguraru pa saami]..we walked sorry climbed around 1K distance..I forgot the main thing..our guys will always forsee the things that is gonna happen so we already got a full bunch of banana..50 buks..then nuts, biscuits etc., Here Mr.Ajeesh took us to point in the mountain for which we have to walk on the edge."If you slip, then its the time for u to decide ver to go, either hell or heaven...there wont be any remains of u. Directly sami will take you" kinda path. But everyone managed to reach that point where we sang, had majaa. After coming out again we climbed another 200 mts to reach a point beteen two rocks on climbing that we were able to see Madurai,Theni and many places in and around. It is actually the border b/n TN and Kerela.

So we were tired after the first heat itself, Mr.Ajeesh told us he will take us to a Tribal village in Idukki. We accepted "Enathan irukunu papom.." So we all practiced their language "Jumbale..Jumbale.." like soon as we reached the top of the mountain we got a full view of Idukki dam..Wow!!! What a dam!!Wonderful...we were all excited after seeing that but before hearing these words from Mr.Ajeesh ,"3Km Mountainla eranganum then malai will take 3 hrs"..some people died as soon as hearing those words. ShanmugaSundaram planned to sleep in the Jeep itself. But v dint xcuse dat... So our journey inside the forest started... "Hus..Hus.." the breathing sound rocked the sky..atlast we reached there in an hour's our surprise they were not as we expected.wearin normal dress hearing FM..Thank God we dint go inside their houses else they we would still be surprised...walkin quite a distance from their place we reached Idukki dam where we enjoyed by dipping ourselves in the water.
Return journey we cant explain in words...we walked for 2mins and took rest for 5 mins..though we managed to reach top before dark."Dei enada trip idu officela dhan drill na ingayuma.Idu tripae illa da"-Natesh.

Next was the unintended location which served boost for all of us.A house on the way to Kumili,we all got down to ask for water. To our surprise the hospitality was great and left us speechless. They involved us in their christmas celebration and started dancing, singing, gave cake etc., Even the baby there was very happy and wished us for christmas and New Year.

We reached Kumili, found a hotel for our rest so to get ready for next day's Thekkadi boating,to our disappointment we dint get ticket for the day's boating."Huh!!!Indha boatingku ivalo kootama" we thought. So we decided to end our stay in Kerala..we waved our hands and started moving into TamilNadu. Our next destination was Suruli Falls, on the way we saw many Grape fields, aporam ena down and got about 3Kgs of grapes packed in a box..we reached suruli falls..some took bath..Some people hesitated because of the dust and dirt in that water.
So our guys were all in great mood to finish their trip in started with tender-coconut,pine-apple,corn,samosa,Ice cream before making start from suruli. From there we reached a hotel in Cumbum, where we were able to know the meaning for the word hospitality.Full meals..Seri kattu...Then we took rest in the nearby house lobby..avaluthan Mudinjudhu..From there to reliance petrol bunk where we started our jeep journey.where we bid adieu to the driver annas after getting the address for sending them some snaps.

A van came from Madurai to pick us.2 hrs travel to reach sivabalan's house again.where we were reviewing our snaps his Mother commented that in one snap Natesh is looking like "SIMBU" [Thing mentioned in the blog].Yes,thats the end and we had our dinner in a small hotel, left B'lore guys in KPN travels and we came to rly station, where we met "Peikaman" an actor who acted in this character in virumaandi...

We ended our trip with another trip to come back to reality..which actually is screwed up..

Munnar - The Ecstacy World

It has been a long time since I keyed down something in my blog,so I thought the time hascome to load one.

Munnar, the nature's birth place I can say,the greenaries around made us feel light. This link is the place where we can share our experience,we were 11 in number, 7 guys started from Chennai and3 from Bangalore, yeah this is a kind of get togather we often do.Why we chose Munnar is because Sivabalan is already exposed to most of the places and his Uncle can guide us to many part ofMunnar.

Madurai, the Temple City was our meeting place we met @ sivabalan's residence. The day had another speciality where they named sivabalan's niece-Shamhitha in a temple near-by, we were also there to grace the occasion ;) (Actually we went there to have pongal prasad). Then we started from there to Cumbum in a van.New flashes..marked the beginning of the new trip..

Cumbum,in the foothills of Munnar,a jeep was waiting for us in the Reliance Petrol bunk and we were waiting for another jeep.we guys will not waste time, by that time the other jeep came we had almost 15 tender coconuts to beat the heat.So the jeep came we were seperated into two groups, one trying to catch other in the hairpin bends that really made usto have our hearts in our mouths.

Nedungandam, the place where they grow many commos (Rice,Tea,cardomom etc.,in a single placethat is preety unusual) We had our so called lunch there. But the disappointment was the placewhere they grow tea,tea was filth and we were not able to drink that. Then our journey started to Parathodu.

Parathodu, the place of cardomom estates.Though we are not agriculture students, we listenedto the processing of cardomom with great interest.Nandagopal started capturing nature for everybody's desktop.By the time we completed everything,it turned dark.So it is time to takerest. We reached Munnar and there came Mr.Ajeesh from Kerela Tourism Dept., a different character to meet.

Munnar Home, the cottage where we stayed.Night climate was a bit cold,we had CD-player and some CDs...then what it is entertainment time..[Censored]..."Dei,Nalaiku seekaram poganumda" asusual Sivabalan started as though he is the official guide and got nicely since he disturbed the guys.. lol.. It was a nice place to stay and we had a nice time there..Thank you Natesh for being the source of entertainment.Dinner time-Huh..what a way to have our dinner the owner of that hotel was drunk, he started making things after taking the order, Muru, as a treasurer had a tough time managingthese kinda owners and sometimes our guys who ate everywhere and he was not able to keep track of the expenses, but he managed to do his job well...Welldone Muru..

Next day,[Opening la pani...thats what we thought..but Munnar was not that cold..]we had our Coffee, teaetc.,Jeep started...then asusual.."Dei pasikudhu da..anna nalla hotela pathu niruthunganna" 2 voices from back of the jeep..."dei inga polam da..anga polam da" 2 guys infront with a printout..but a soul, nevermindedthe things happening around...was sleeping!!!! it was is all because of the belief hehad on us..."Pasanga kootitu poiduvanganu"..He got nicely from me and nut on the second day..

Rajamala,The place of Rain deer which is available here and in Brazil.."Nammalla Brazillam poga mudiyadhu ingaye pakalam" Muru sounded pessimistic..So we got I said before we cant waste our time,as our legs waited inthe queue, a war started b/n our hands and our mouth...cut mango with chilli powder..Wow!! Nanda was having Corn..Nanda and some others went into the queue illegally and got nicely from Former Principal of Guindy Engg Coll.[We cant forget the SUPER!! for our life time].Nothing special was there..some snaps and video..thats it...Hmmm..then what to do..All guys had a great sense to smell..the smelled the canteen on the back side and started drinking masala tea etc.,etc., "Dei Bus da!!" one guy shouted.."Adutha bus la poiklam da" a spontaneous reply..[Bus was the only medium of transport from bottom to top]

The next target was Mattupatty boating,we stopped our jeep there..Roasted corns beckoned me and Natesh...we went thereto our surprise all our gang was standing there..I think it called all our went inside to buy ticket. To our disappointment it was closed for lunch and we have to wait for an hour.So we thought we can go to Echo point near by.
We started to Echo Point..They had cut down all trees so no echo..we were still disappointed..K..Lets buy gift for "The Guide" [not the R.K.Narayan's story a original guide].By that time we were doing a search, Balaji and Shanmugam started trading in a Bajji shop.We all got tensed and we shouted at them for not calling us..So the trading continued for 50 Bajjis.Since there was no echo there we started calling it "Bajji Point". Muru had a hectic time there.

While returning we saw lotta Lawns.."Niruthunga da..poi velayadalam"-Natesh got excited. We got down, ran jumped, kicked others gave pose to snaps..Natesh and Karthikeyan were practising the Pattiyal fight "Huh-ah...Huh-ah"... "Hey poiko..poiko.." sound from back.."Yevanda adhu.."-chorus.. Security was shouting with a long stick {don't mistake it was a wooden stick}..[That was a shooting spot not open for public]

So we were back to boating, so we got seperated into 3 groups and entered the boat.Huh!!!twists and turns made me to see my great grand parents,Naradha etc.,Got down...Life came back..I pinched myself to realise the present.

Driver annas told about a falls nearby,we went there to see a ferocious falls,What a force!! we can't stand in the running water..But we managed to climb up not in water but using some rocks,we were able to show a glimpse of our ancesstors to others. Many of us came back soon..Suddenly a roar..a guy from another group got struk in the stream and was not able to come out..all gals and guys from his group were trying to save him..Natesh and JP walked slowly.."Dei enada..Kaapathuveenganupatha poitananu pakara madhiri poreenga" we shouted from here..But we came to know that they went to see the gals standing around..-Pasanga Kariyathula kuriya

From there to View point..but we dint get any view from there..becos it was it is time for dinner- Pasangaluku evalo kushi...Kerela is famous for its tourism but the food was too bad..Guys started purchasing tea and chocolates..then we came back to our nest...for the second night stay...

"Saaami Kai 2 days in next blog..Dont miss the excitement we had with Mr.Ajeesh on next couple of days"
See you..........Excitement continues
